Home Shows

Twice a year, in April/May and again September/October, we hold a Fun Show for all our students. Shows are organized to run just like a recognized show to give our students the chance to prepare for attending larger shows in the future.

Our class lists are flexible to accommodate the changing needs and skill level of our students. Ribbons are awarded 1st-5th place and classes are divided so that all riders receive a ribbon for their participation.

Home shows cost only a small fee of $5 per class.

$4 per class if student is using their own horse.

Travel Shows

PEC's attandance of local and regional shows is fluid to what is appropriate and desired by the student body. In the past we have attended the Open Shows at Gaston Farm Road Equestrian Center. As our students advance, we plan to widen the scope of the competitions we attend, hopefully including Dressage, Hunter/Jumper, and Eventing/ Horse Trial competitions.

Travel show participants will be charged as follows:

$40/day coaching fee

$40/day use of horse and trailering fee (for students who will be using a lesson horse)

+ the cost of classes and any fees incurred by the show.

Cross Country Schooling

Students interested in eventing/horse trials can take lesson horses or their own horse to local venues.

Schooling fees as follows:

$15/day coaching fee

$15/day use of horse/trailering fee (for students using a lesson horse)
